The attic currently contains insulation batts with an r 5.9 value. I need to do this so that the cellulose does not go into my soffits. Insulation baffle for 24 rafter bays.

These attic baffles are lightweight, easy to install and provide excellent airflow. This past winter we had foam insulation installed in the house, attic and walls. They are usually made from cardboard, or rigid foam board, or polyvinyl chloride. They look fine from the attic side but when i went into the soffits this afternoon the bottom side is not open, the card board is folded up so there is no air flow.
